What data belongs in the DPP? The ESPR and its delegated acts set minimum requirements — mandatory and optional data together make up the final digital product passport.
Mandatory data
Legally required — depends on product group and ESPR regulation
- Identity Unique product ID, model, batch or serial number, GTIN where applicable.
- Manufacturer Name, address and responsible economic operator.
- Materials Material composition, substances contained and critical raw materials.
- Safety Declarations of conformity, markings and hazard warnings.
- Circularity & disposal Information on lifespan, recycling, disassembly and proper disposal.
